== Performance history in South Africa ==
First performed in August 2002 by [[Theatre for Africa]] in the [[Theatre on the Square]], directed by [[John Martin]], with an internastional cast including M. Sajitha, Aleks Kamau, Raymond Kasawaya, Esailama Diouf, Paula Sandroni, [[Jody Abrahams]] and Mohamed el Hagrasy. It was staged on a double bill with ''[[Of Birds and Beasts]]'' to coincide with the ''World Summit for Sustainable Development'' in Sandton, Johannesburg.
