First performed as a "domestic burletta in three acts" at the Adelphi Theatre, London on 14 October, 1833. Published by G.H. Davidson, London 1833(?)

1855: Performed in Cape Town's [[Garrison Theatre]] by the [[Garrison Players]] (officers of the 73rd Regiment) on 28 September 1855 as part of a presentation "for the Patriotic Fund" , under the title ''[[Grace Huntley, or The Follies of Youth]]'' with the farce ''[[Comfortable Lodgings]], or Paris in 1750]]'' (Peake).
