Ledra) in [[And Then ---]], directed by [[Dick Cruikshanks]] and [[Joseph Albrecht]], and the following year he played Pvt. Tommy Atkins, one of the Prince Imperial's bodyguards in [[The Symbol of Sacrifice]], also directed by Cruikshanks. According to his gravestone in the Stellawood Cemetery in Durban he died in an accident while in the employ of AFP, possibly during the filming of [[The Reef of Stars]]. He was survived by his wife, Kathleen Isabella Leddra. He may have served in the South African Constabulary and was discharged in 1906 "due to reduction of establishment". (FO)
