An Afrikaans theatrical society, founded in the late 1930s, to "draw people with farces, then move on to serious theatre" (according to a 1939 letter from the secretary). The first committee consisted of [[A.P van den Berg]], [[J. van Rensburg]], Miss [[A. de Villiers]], Mrs [[M.Enslin]], [[A.H. Potgieter]], [[T. Jooste]], and [[H.N. Roux]].
