'''''Endangered Species''''' is a play by [[Barbie Schreiner]], written partly in collaboration with various other people, including actors [[Andrew Buckland]] and [[Sheena Stannard]]. A tale of two sisters: one a MK guerrilla, one a stripper. It is an attempt to show that whites also have some relevance in the political struggle in South Africa in the 1980s.

Workshopped under the direction of [[Clare Stopford]] and produced in the [[Market Theatre]] Rehearsal Room 11-23 June 1990 starring [[Kate Edwards]] as the MK guerilla sister, Bridget and [[Sheena Stannard]] (Nicky, the stripper). Others in the cast are [[Steven Jennings]] as Fence, the cocaine dealer husband of Nicky and [[Juliana Venter]] as the magician Singer. Music is by [[Shaun Naidoo]].

The play transferred to the Zabalaza Cultural Festival in London from 2-18 July 1990.
