The [[Egerton and Case Company]] was a theatre company active in Cape Town in August of 1878.

Formed by two former members of the [[Disney Roebuck]]'s company, the husband and wife team of [[Miss Egerton]] and [[Mr Case]], who rented the [[Athenaeum Hall]], Cape Town, during Roebuck's absence in from the country, apparently performing a number of plays themselves from 7-16 August, and from 23 August till 19 September, hosting other performers (e.g. [[Ada Ward]], alone and with the company of [[Henry Smith]] and [[Richard Thatcher]]).
