She was involved with Child Welfare and was appointed Principal of Eersterust Creche. Her involvement in the planning of productions and performances in lead roles for [[EPAC]] prompted her to become a professional actress in 1981.

She became involved in politics in the late 1990s.

She was a founder member of the [[Eersterust Performing Arts Council]]

She had roles in ''[[Ek, Anna van Wyk]]'', ''[[Miscarriage of Murder]]'', ''[[Kanna hy kô Hystoe]]'', ''[[Mooi Maria]]'', ''[[Kruispaaie]]'', ''[[A Sreetcar Named Desire|Die Trem se Naam Begeerte]]'',

On television she has appeared in ''Agter Elke Man'', ''The Mantis Project'', ''River Horse Lake'', etc.

She had a role in the film ''[[Swansong for Charlie]]'' which was developed by [[Paul Slabolepszy]] and produced and directed by [[Bobby Heaney]] in 2003.
