[[Christopher Joynt]] is an artist and art teacher, storyteller and playwright.

Also known as [[Chris Joynt]].

After 30 years of being an art teacher, he began writing stories for his children and grandchildren. Among these were a series of "Stoepstories" ("stoop/porch tales"), as well as a novel, about the fictional "Oom Giel" ("Uncle Giel") and "Neef" ("cousin"),.

Initiallly he largely wrote in English, but then discovered the [[Afrikaans]] radio dramas of [[RSG]] after his retirement, and began to write for them.

Among the radio dramas have been ''[[Kolskoot Visagie]]'' (2018),
