He became Assistant Director/Choreographer for [[NAPAC]]'s Department of Musical Theatre headed by [[Geoffrey Sutherland]] in 1986 where he worked on over one hundred productions over the next eight years.

He was General Manager of the [[Teatro]] in 2007.

Productions for [[NAPAC]] include ''[[My Fair Lady]]'', ''[[March of the Falsettos]]'', ''[[Jesus Christ Superstar]]'', ''[[Once On This Island]]'', ''[[Christian!]]'' and the musical trilogy ''[[Sweet Charity]]'', ''[[Sweeney Todd]]'' and ''[[Candide]]''.

Since leaving Durban Bryan has choreographed ''[[Show Boat]]'', ''[[The King and I]]'' and ''[[Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story]]''.

He directed the 1994 [[PACT]] production of ''[[Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat]]''.

He appeared in and acted as Dance Captain for the 1995 production of ''[[Crazy for You]]''. For ''[[West Side Story]]'' he was Assistant Diector/Choreographer and re-staged it in Cape Town and Bloemfontein.

Bryan directed the national tour of ''[[Queen at the Opera]]'', ''[[Ain't Misbehavin']]'' for [[CAPAB]] and choreographed ''[[Oklahoma!]]'' for the [[State Theatre]]. Other projects were the Musical Staging for ''[[The Fantasticks]]'' and additional choreography for ''[[Fiddler on the Roof]]'' at the [[State Theatre]].
