The [[Bijou Troupe]] was a visiting company of professional variety performers.

They apparently originated from somewhere in the East, and consisted of only two performers, [[Madame Julie]] and [[Monsieur Raymond]], supported by local amateurs from Cape Town. They performed in the city from February to March 1870, doing two shows in the [[Oddfellows' Hall]] in February and two plays, ''[[The Rough Diamond]]'' and ''[[The Swiss Cottage]]'', in the [[Institute Building]] on 20 March.

Not much more is known about them and nothing further is heard of them.
