 His serious writing career started with two of his stories being read on [[RSG]] in 2009 (''[[Grondpad]]'' and ''[[Die Doodskis]]''), after which the writing bug bit him. He has continued to write since then, mostly about ghosts and other evils that lurk in the dark, because "a story with ghosts is like eating your food with chillies".
