''[[Afrikaanse Schetsze]]'' ("[[Afrikaans]] sketches") was the title give to a series of comical sketches written by [[Melt J. Brink]] and published in the comic periodical ''[[The Knobkerrie]]'', under the pseudonym [[Koos Rijmzak]] in 1884.

They were the first of Brink's works to be written a form of [[Dutch]]-[[Afrikaans]] that had begun to develop in the Cape, and in his case, his own version thereof which would later be referred to as "[[Brink Afrikaans]]" by some commentators.
