Founded in 2007 in Alexander Street, opposite the Stellenbosch common ("Die Braak") by [[Cristine Falck]], as a venue for new young artists. It is a small cabaret-style venue with an small thrust stage and seating a maximum of 100, upstairs in what used to be a fitness centre. Many young singers, cabaret artists, and perrformers have appeared there. The vnue is also used by the Drama Department of the University of Stellenbosch for its writing and cabaret exams.
