''’n Lewe in die teater'' is an Afrikaans translation by [[Peter Taljaard]] of the American play ''A Life in the Theatre'' by David Mamet. A tragi-comedy described as Mamet's love letter to the theatre, it explores the relationship between a younger and an older actor — one at the start of his career, the other nearing its end.

The production won awards for Best Debut Production and Best Artists at the [[Vryfees]] in 2011.
