View source for This is Not An Intellectual Experience

by the [[Feela Sistah! Spoken Word Collective]]. A musical and verbal journey through the lives of four unique women.  The influences range from jazz to hip hop, from praise songs to modern literature. Created by and featuring by [[Myesha Jenkins]],  [[Napo Masheane]], [[Lebogang Mashile]] and [[Ntsiki Mazwai]]. Performed 2004 and onwards with sold out shows at [[Kippies]], [[BassLine]], at the [[Grahamstown Festival]] and the [[Women’s Arts Festival]], as well as guest shows for the Gauteng Legislature, National Prosecuting Authority, and the [[Steve Biko Foundation]].
