Besides a number of original poems by [[Bartho Smit]] himself and translations of poems by, and an essay on, Henri Michaux, the volume contains his early play '''''[[Meisies van Vervloë Jare]]''''' as well as a number of his more theoretical essays on drama, theatre and performance.

The volume first published in 1974 by [[Perskor]].
