==The original text==

A pro-[[Boer]] play about second the second [[Boer War]] (known as "La guerre des Boers seconde" in French), it is a sprawling work in five acts and six tableaux. Its many scenes are set in various parts of South Africa, London and Paris during the war years and ends at the time of Queen Victoria's funeral. The play touches on a number of themes, but primarily expresses solidarity between the French and the Boer nation, and a hate of the British. 

Published by Librairie Arthème Fayard in 1902.
