In South Africa the play opened in the [[Baxter Theatre|Baxter Studio]] on 22 July 1988 directed by [[Mavis Taylor]] and starring [[David Alcock]], [[Belinda Koning]], [[Christopher Weare]], [[Brenda Wood]], [[Rick Rogers]]. Music by [[Johan Cloete]], costumes by [[Brian Collins]], lighting by [[Jason de Smidt]].
