David Hall-Green was a professional actor in the 1950s and '60s and had a 25-year journey with the [[SABC]] as radio personality, television presenter and newsreader.

In 2013, together with [[Roger Davis]] he co-founded the [[Bitou Amateur Theatrical Society]] in Plettenberg Bay, and directed several productions for the society, including ''[[The Mousetrap]]'' (2019).
