== Performance history in South Africa ==

1843: Performed in Cape Town on 21 July in the Dutch translation by [[Door Yver Vruchtbaar]] as their first performance, with the comedy ''[[Het Losse Schot]]'' (Von Kotzebue). 

1843: Repeated at special request on 4 August, 1843 by the same company, with the addition of ''[[De Gevaarlyke Buurman]]'' (Kotzebue).
