''[[Admiral Lord Nelson, or The Life of a Sailor]]'' ''[[Admiral Lord Nelson, or The Life of a Sailor]]'' is one of a series of a [[Circus|circus]]-style pantomimic presentations in Cape Town, October to December, 1850. It included a "Procession of his statue". The presentations were done by the [[Equestrian Gymnastics]], a French [[Circus|circus]] troupe which visited the city and performed pantomime-performances and dramatised equestrian displays under the auspices of the governor Sir Harry Smith in this period.
