==The original text==

The text, collated and written by [[Hennie Aucamp]] in 2002, celebrates the life and value systems of the [[Bushman]] people (aka [[San]]) and is based on the writings of a a number of [[Afrikaans]] writers, celebrating the [[Bushmen]] in South Africa. The authors included by Aucamp are the literary figures [[G.R. von Wielligh]], [[Eugène Marais]], [[P.J. Schoeman]], [[Uys Krige]] and [[Antjie Krog]] and the anthropologist [[Coral Fourie]]. Music composed by [[Peter Louis van Dijk]]

The play does not seem to have been published. A copy of the typed text is held in the archives of the Drama Department at the [[University of Stellenbosch]].

The title of the text was later adapted to '''''Kan jy die musiek van die maan en die sterre nie hoor nie?'''''
