Mammon (1877) from Octave Feuillet, ''[[Montjoye]]'', rewritten for Beerbohm-Tree as ''[[A Bunch of Violets]]'' (1894)
The play was originally written for [[W.H. Vernon]] by Grundy and first performed at the Strand Theatre, London, on 7 April, 1877. It became a standard item in Vernon's repertoire.
