''[[Big Dada]]'' is a play by [[Brett Bailey]], about Idi Amin Dada [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Idi_Amin], President of Uganda (1971-79). World premiere in the Tropentheater in Amsterdam at the Roots Festival in June 2001.

== Performance history in South Africa ==
2001: Premiered in South African at the [[Grahamstown Festival]] in 2001, a [[Third World Bunfight]] production directed by [[Brett Bailey]] with an all-male cast of ten singer-dancer-actors, led by [[Sello Sebotsane]] as Big Dada. The same production played in the [[Baxter Theatre]] after the Festival.
