Bearing the tsotsitaal subtitle "Ons Phola Hi" ("we play here"), it is a collection of plays selected and introduced by Robert Kavanagh.
Published in London by Heinemann as Issue 224 of their African Writers Series in 1981 (ISBN 9780435902247), the volume was banned for many years in South Africa.
