Oh! Susannah!

Oh! Susannah! is a farcical comedy in three acts by Mark Ambient (1860-1937)[1].

Not to be confused with "Oh! Susanna", the popular minstrel song written by Stephen Foster (1847)[2]

The original text

First performed at the Eden Theatre, Brighton, on September 6th, 1897, afterwards played at the Royalty Theatre, London.

1908: Performed in South Africa by the Leonard Rayne company, with a cast that included Naomi Rutherford.
