Doña Rosita the Spinster is a period play by the 20th-century Spanish dramatist Federico García Lorca [1] (1898-1936). It is subtitled "or The Language of the Flowers".

1957: Presented by the University of Cape Town’s Speech and Drama Department in September at the Little Theatre, directed by Rosalie van der Gucht.

1971: Presented by the University of Cape Town’s Speech and Drama Department in February at the Quadrangle Theatre, directed by Tessa Marwick.
