Deon Furnell is a businessman and facilitator, and one-time an amateur actor, playwright and director.

Biography
He completed high school at D.F.Malan High School in Cape Town, where he was a member of the Drama Society (1972-1974), then did a B.Econ. degree at the University of Stellenbosch, where his ativities and societies included being a student leader, Vice Chairman of the Residence committee, an accredited athletics coach and an active member of USAT, the University Drama Society.
His further studies included a Master's Degree in Behavioural PsychologyMaster's Degree, Behaviour Psychology from the University of ST Paul Minnesota USA (1982 - 1984) and various professional certificates over the years.
