The Long and the Short and the Tall

The Long and the Short and the Tall is a play by English playwright Willis Hall (1929-2005)[ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Willis_Hall]. Previously named The Disciplines of War. The play is set during the Second World War but the name comes from the lyrics of the 1917 song, "Bless them all".

A film adaptation was released in 1961. Directed by Leslie Norman, it stars Laurence Harvey, Richard Harris, Richard Todd, and David McCallum.
