The King of Laughter is a comedy about laughter written by Craig Freimond.

A production of the play was directed by the author at the 2004 National Arts Festival, starring James Borthwick (Barry), Claire Watling (Natasha) and Wayne van Rooyen (Jerome). Wesley France was the production manager and lighting designer and Bradley Goss the designer.

The play was also produced at the Baxter Theatre.
