The Housekeeper, or "The White Rose" is a comedy in two acts by Douglas Jerrold (1803-1857)[].

Also found as The Housekeeper, or The White Rose, and is on occasion referred to simply as The Housekeeper.

First performed at the Theatre Royal, Haymarket on July 17, 1833.

1862: Performed as The Housekeeper, or The White Rose in the Theatre Royal, Cape Town by the Clara Tellett and her company on 19th June, with Catching an Heiress, or Which is Which (Selby).
