1990: The world premiere was staged in May by PACOFS in the Sand du Plessis Theatre, directed by Ernst Eloff, with Sydney Chama (The Native), Brian O’Shaughnessy (Captain Lynch), Blaise Koch (1st Mate Cowper) and Diane Mnumzane (The Dancing Woman). Decor by Johan Badenhorst and costumes by James Parker.
