Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

He created a musical adaptation (with Corney Mabaso) of Can Themba’s Baby, Come Duze (Windybrow?*,1991), provided additional dialogue for Barney Simon’s adaptation of Themba’s short story The Suit (Market Theatre 1993) and did a musical adaptation of Bloke Modisane’s autobiography (Bloke, Windybrow Theatre, 1994).

He also wrote plays called Sell-Out! The Musical (1994?), Nkosi: The Healing Song, early 1990s and Kippie (a musical about jazz musician Kippie Moeketsi, 1997).

He wrote the musical Lakutshon Ilanga (Music is a healer) (1989).

He wrote threatre criticism for Voice' in the late 1970s.

He was a co-founder (with Miriam Tlali) of Skotaville Publishers.

He was appointed manager of the Johannesburg Civic Theatre's education and Development Department in January 1997.
