Jennifer Woodburne (1965- ). South African actress.

Biography

She has been married to the British actor Alex Ferns since 1996. They currently live in London (2014).

Youth

Training

She studied at the University of Cape Town Drama Department, graduating in 1990.

Career

She joined the Loft Theatre Company for two years.

Jennifer was a member of the [Theatresports Company]] and a teacher at the Market Theatre Laboratory.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

For Loft Theatre Company roles included Wendla in Spring Awakening and Helena in A Midsummer Night's Dream.

She was seen at the Market Theatre in Nutshelled.

Scenes from an Execution (1994), A Tale of Two Cities (1996). Toured the UK with the Market Theatre production of Titus Andronicus.

On the London stage she played Betsie Verwoerd in ID in 2003. She has appeared in a CCV drama Reflections of Guilt.
