(1975-) Sound Artist and Sound Designer.


Biography

Born in Kimberley, South Africa in 1975, grew up in Stellenbosch.


Training

Studied at The Red & Yellow School, Cape Town (1999 Diploma in Copywriting) and University of Cape Town, (B.A. Drama and Comparative Religion, 1996)


Contribution to South African performing arts

Did the sound for numerous plays, films, CDs, videos, and so on.

Stage works include: Mung (Rob van Vuuren, 1999); Bangalore Torpedo (Grahamstown Festival, 2001); T'angkupa (Lanon Prigge, 2001); Aars! (Vleis, Rys en Aartappels, Aardklop Festival and The Spier Summer Arts Festival 2001-2); Cold Water, Thirsty Souls ( Artscape, 2002);Mamma Medea (Vleis, Rys en Aartappels, 2002-3); Antigone (Grahamstown Festival and Baxter Theatre, 2004); Romeo en Julia (Studie van 'n Verdrinkende Liggaam) (Vleis, Rys en Aartappels, 2005); Orfeus (Brett Bailey, 2006); The Bird Watchers (Fugard Theatre, 2011); Babel (Nicola Hanekom, 2012), Die Laaste Karretjiegraf (2013), The Shadow of the Hummingbird (Fugard Theatre, 2014).
