J.J.P. O'pt Hof

J.J.P. O'pt Hof (19*-19*) was an educator, educational administrator and theatre supporter.

He was the secretary of the 1945 Eybers Commission of Enquiry into adult education in South Africa after the world war, and this ultimately led to the founding of the National Theatre Organisation (NTO). In 1948 he was appointed as the one of Education Department's representatives on the first board of the NTO.
