In 'n Skewe Straatjie

(lit: "In a little diagonal street") music composed by by Jan Pohl and Elise Laubscher. Originally a loose collection of satirical and comic songs, with some political commentary on the war and issues surrounding it. Devised for and originally performed by Katdorings in Pretoria during 1942, it was later reworked into a text, with a thin storyline, by Jan Pohl and presented by Volksteater on 15-21 March, 1945. Directed by Anna Neethling-Pohl, starring Gert van den Bergh, Eugenie Heyns and Jan Schutte, set by Kobus Esterhuysen.
