Een Droom ("A dream") is a Dutch dramatic sketch in three parts by Arnold (Nicolaas Arnoldus Wijnstok, 1830-1878)[1].

The original text

Written for the Rederijkers, it was performed by De Rederijkerskamer S.J. van den Bergh (motto: "Vooruitgang is ons doel") in Enkhuizen, Holland, on 27 October 1865.

Performance history in South Africa

1869: Performed in the Germania Hall, Cape Town, by Aurora II on 7 October, with Het Laatste Levensuur van een Oranjeklant (Arnold) and Manke Koos (Arnold).
