CRITICAL ARTS: *** An accredited journal. Founded in 1980 by Keyan Tomaselli and John van Zyl at Wits University. When Tomaselli set up the Centre for Culture, Communication and Media Studies (CCMS) at the University of Natal, Durban, the journal moved there. In 199* the journal was punblished jointly by and renamed Critical Arts A Journal for South-North Critical and Media Studies ***** Since 200* published by UNISA Press (Pretoria). In 2007 UNISA Press licenced Routlege (London) to publish the international edition from 2007.
