He wrote many radio plays, of which some were adapted for the stage, such as The Summer House.
He appeared on stage in A Woman of No Importance, The Ascent of F6, Twelfth Night, or What You Will (1949, Labia Theatre).
Awards, etc
His radio documentary A Leaf, a Tree, a Hill, a Cloud was awarded an Academy prize in 1982.
