He wrote the play The Pump Room and the satirical play Comrade Babble (2012).

Awards, etc

He was one of five writers shortlisted in 2002 for the annual Caine Prize for African writers (instituted in 1999 in memory of Sir Michael Caine, who helped to establish the Booker Prize) for his novel Courageous and Steadfast.
